This memory is very old, but I do remember it as my African American music teacher back in the late eighties introducing Fur Elise to me. And if it weren't for her, I would not be thinking that Allegro con brio Symphony No5 is absolutely awesome. I would not love other classical music masterpieces. Thanks to her I am now "cultured". It was never forced on me and that is why I am able to appreciate it now. And get this... I plan on buying the entire Beethoven collection. I am soooooooo jazzed!!
